TV Host, Financial Advisor,
Entrepreneur, Public Speaker, Non-Profit Advocate, Wife and Mother
Gigi Grey-Ricarse was born in Davao
City, Philippines. She is married to Roy Ricarse and they
have two boys, Kyle and Lance.
Gigi is the TV
host for a Canadian talk show called The Big Shift about life of immigrants in
Canada. She is a Financial Advisor by profession under her company Client First
Financials which assists clients on asset protection and wealth management.
Outside her work, Gigi Grey-Ricarse
is an active volunteer for non-profit organizations. She is the outreach
facilitator for the Multicultural Helping Society in British Columbia , Canada
which helps new immigrants, foreign contract workers and caregivers become
successful in Canada.
She immigrated to Canada in 2005 with her family. Prior to immigrating, she worked as a branch manager at
the largest telecommunications company in the Philippines. In 1992, she
finished her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at the Ateneo de
Davao University, a Jesuit institution.
Her greatest passion is helping other
people through her gift of empathetic listening whether in her business or
while doing volunteering activities in her local community. To Gigi,
it is very important that every single endeavor she does has meaning and depth
for her and for the people she serves.
She loves to read non-fiction books,
likes reading poems and finds wisdom in quotes from inspirational
writers.
